Love at first sight?!?!
Do you believe in "love at first sight"? I do! It's not with guys but CLAY! yes you heard me right, it's clay. I developed a deep interest the day my sis brought home a turntable. It was her who showed me the way to mould my first base for a pot and how to coil it. As time progressed, so did my confidence in pottery; so much so that I did pottery for 'A' Level Art. Being able to gain further insights on pottery in NIE has only deepen the interest even further. Experimenting with slab work, I created the colourful "kampong" house which was my first attempt ever. Though I must say that I still prefer coiling, probably because it's the method I have used all these while. The "wedding gown" is my biggest and most expressive creation I have done so far, and it's an abstract interpretation of the gown I wore on my wedding day.
